So long story short, I had to replace the rear glass on my 08 audi a4 and now the radio reception is garbage. The installers broke the ground contact on the antenna booster when they installed the glass, and after about a month they finally replaced the booster. The fm reception is better, but not good and I still cannot get any am channels. I am curious if anyone here knows how to properly install one of these boosters. It seems like they would have to make contact with the window to make a proper connection. If I touch a certain spot on the back of the booster the fm channels come in clear, but only when I have my finger on that spot. I have looked around on the web and the only thing I can find is about replacing the booster, which has already been done. Does anyone know anything about how these work? I hate to ask specifically, but @civicious do you know anything about this, or would you be able to tell me the process of installing one properly?
