Change - Positive Effect - Negative Effect
Increase Tire Width - Increased Dry Traction - Hydroplaning in wet conditions, Requires wider wheels(in some cases), Reduced fender well clearance
Increase Wheel Offset - Increased track width, Reduced weight transfer - Aerodynamic drag, Increased wheel bearing load, Reduced tire clearance
Lower Center of Gravity - Reduced weight transfer, Reduced body roll - Reduced ground clearance, Reduced wheel travel
Increased Spring Rate - Reduced body roll - Increased bump shock, Harsher ride
Increase Negative Camber - Increased tire cornering power - Tire wear, Steering/Braking pull, Reduced straight line traction
Increase Positive Caster - Straight line stability, Improved camber on turns - Harder Steering, Possible shimmy(wheel shake)
Lower Roll Center - Less camber change on roll - Increased tire scrub(tire changing path/direction) on roll
Replace Suspension Bushings w/More Solid I.E. Polyurethane - Reduced alignment deflection(roll steer), Faster anti-roll bar response - Increased vibration, Harsher ride, Replacement bushings usually require lubrication
