    1st gen b16a into obd1 del sol

up. if i just buy a 1st gen obd0 b16a engine, can i tap it for new sensors that obd1 uses (whichever ones that may be) to convert the engine to obd1? What exactly is involved, stricly talking w/ the engine, in converting an obd0 b16a to a obd1 b16a? thanks.

    1st gen b16a into obd1 del sol

OK, i want to buy a b16a engine to take apart and totally rebuild. During the build-up I will be working with L&M Engines in Hatboro,PA to build custom camshafts for the engine during its several stages of build up. (i.e couple stages for stock b16a, couple for b16a w/ head work, b16a w/...

    Black Lug Nutts..

just get the mcgard hyper black ones. they are a lug nut and lock set with 2 keys. 1 key for the locking lug nut and another key for the other lugs. they also have a sing around the back of them so only the lug spin when taking on and off, and the ring stays stationary, so the wheel's don't...

    Best Axles

i have only the driveshaftshop stage 1s in my jdm b16a sol and they are superb quality. Haven't had any problems since install over 15000 hard miles ago. I noticed a lot smoother acceleration once replacing the old ones too, but thats prolly cause one of the old ones was "clicking." good...

    Advantages of lowering a car

on the 1/4mile side of things, usually when lowering a car the springs tend to be stiffer. Stiffer springs will help you launch better, especially if you get adjustable shocks with the lowering kit. get in all in one- not sleevovers.

CTR, ITR, or stock B16a crank pulley?

yo pissedoff, what do you mean he sent it out to get balanced? to where? and what does that actually involve? sorry for the ignorant questions, but i'm not knowledgable about the harmonic balancing and stuff... thats a great thread, that is my plans. i came across it a week ago...

CTR, ITR, or stock B16a crank pulley?

Here's my situation: I have a JDM B16a in my del sol and up until yesterday was running both my A/C and P/S. My crank pulley has been cracked for a long time now and i have been looking into replacing it, but was (and still am) a little reluctant/scared to get anything other than the stock...

    brake fluid.....

is there anything special about genuine honda dot3 as opposed to say, STP Dot3? i mean, like is it specially formulated to not wear honda parts, sorta like the honda coolant doesn't contain silicates...? thanks again for any info. -rob

    brake fluid.....

thanks for the info. so the only downside to getting DOT4 as opposed to DOT3 is that you'll have to change it a little more often and its more expensive...?

    WANTED:

just wanted to know.....is there any kind of performance upgrade by using OE honda parts?......besides getting the pulley that doesn't have PS or AC running off of it. What i'm really asking is if there's a pulley that is lighter AND genuine honda that ALSO runs PS and AC. if not, i'll...

    WANTED:

the crank pulley from my jdm b16a got chipped and i need to replace it. if your are absolutely positive the b16a pulley is the same as others (i.e. b18c...b16b...b18c5?) i'll buy one of those from you. I don't think it matters, but for clarification, this pulley is driving the AC, PS, and...
